With term 3 boot camp returning Monday, running group will coincide with the
10 week term, with a few alternate day's due to events.
Thank you for all who met last Saturday for a coffee and a run, it was such
a lovely morning and great opportunity with no sport or boot camp following
to have a coffee and catch-up. Really looking forward to organising this
event again outside of the 10 week term in Spring.
This Saturday 30th July, is our first team event for term 3 - the Canberra
Bush Marathon. Due to this event running group will not be on Saturday,
instead a light training session will be scheduled Thursday 28th July in the
afternoon. Please let me know if you will be able to attend Thurs and I will
confirm a time early in the week. Sunday running group will definitely be on
at the usual time 8am, for a light recovery run after the event on Saturday.
Last term running group found a permanent schedule; Saturday 7am and Sunday
8am. This schedule will continue, however due to the City to Surf the
weekend of the 14th August and the following weekend were I am away for a
wedding - 20th August, those two weeks running group will be on the Tuesday
and Thursday afternoons.
Dates; Tuesday 9th and 16th August and Thursday 11th and 18th August.
Tuesday will be at 5:50pm (due to wk commitments before) and we can discuss
a time for Thursday.
The Canberra Times fun run will also change our running schedule, this event
is Sunday 11th September. Therefore running training for this week will be
Thursday 8th (time yet to be confirmed) and Saturday 10th September at 7am.
