Term 4 introduces Physio Pilates to the timetable on a Wednesday at 6:30pm.
This class will be a mat based class run by a qualified physiotherapist for 45min, designed to focus on core and overall General Strength to improve
Pilates involves a series of controlled movements that engage both your body and mind. A mat based class will primarily focus on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and flexibility.
The outcome of regular Pilates training is a balanced body that is strong and supple a flatter stomach, strong balanced legs and back. Pilates combined with your boot camp and or running group session is the key to reaching a balanced and more functional body. Running Group will include a technique session geared to improve running performance via a bio mechanical analysis and training drills designed to improve speed and preserve energy consumption. Boot Camp will include a functional assessment and programming targeted to improve bio-mechanical imbalances and to prevent injuries and improve general and athletic performance.
